In-between the China Origin Virus Pandemic and the half of the country is still under lockdown the Honda Cars India Ltd is all set to start delivering the all-new 5th Generation Honda City in July. The company claims the car to be the longest and widest of his segment which means more comfort and more room in the cabin.

So, what makes this car so special? The car needs no introduction. Honda City is almost the synonyms of Honda Company. In fact, Honda City is not the only beloved car in India

but it is the highest selling sedan in all-over Asia. Currently, Honda City is available in 60 different countries. Honda City has successfully completed 22 years in India.

2020 Honda City will be the first Indian car to come with Alexa Remote capability. However, chances are this feature will come only in the top-notch model. The car will also be equipped with Telematic Control Unit (TCU) that offers 32 connected features. Honda claims many new segment-first features will be added in the 5th Gen. According to company spoke person the whole architecture of the car is inspired by Japanese Katana Blade which is a type of curved sword used by ancient samurai to win battles and this inspiration is an aspiration of Honda City to be more successful than its rivals. Some of the rivals are Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Skoda Rapid.

About safety, the car offers advanced safety equivalent to ASEAN N-CAP 5 star-rating. The car will have 6 airbags with an emergency stop signal, tire pressure monitoring system, ABS with EBD, Pedestrian Injury Mitigation System, multi-angle real camera and more.

Some segment-first features mentioned by HCIL are Full LED headlamps(come with 9LED inline

shell, integrated LED DRL and L shaped turn signal), Z- Shaped 3Dwrap-around LED Tail lamp, 17.7 cm HD full-colour TFT meter with G-meter, Lane Watch camera, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with Agile Handling Assist (AHA) and many more which will be announced soon. Some advanced equipment provided by carmaker is 8inch touchscreen display with connectivity option with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Weblink, Follow-me-Home or Lead-me-to-Car Headlamp with Auto Timer, Paddle shifters, Ambient lighting and many other features come in all-new Honda City 2020 model. The carmaker also provides best-in-class knee room and legroom delivering great comfort and boot space of 506L.

The new model comes with 1.5L i-VTEC DOHC engine with VTC in petrol and 1.5L i-DTEC diesel engine. Petrol version car will come expectedly in CVT and 6-speed manual which will give the power of 121hp. While diesel will offer only in 6-speed manual. In petrol, the manual transmission will give a fuel efficiency of 17.8kmpl whereas the CVT will give 18.4kmpl average and diesel car will provide 24.1kmpl.

Pre-booking of this amazing car is already started. You can book online by paying ₹5000 or you can also book at your nearest authorized dealer by paying ₹21,000.

2020 MERCEDES – BENZ GLC COUPE FACELIFT LAUNCH DATE IN INDIA ANNOUNCED

The Mercedes – Benz GLC Coupe is launched on 3rd March in India. GLC is launching exactly one year after its global debut in Geneva Motor Show 2019. The best part is the car will come with the upcoming Bharat VI (BS6) regulations. First Micro SUV by TATA announced – TATA HBX MICRO SUV

Tata has confirmed that the new tata HBX micro SUV will launch in next fiscal year, launch date will confirm later. This adventurous ready car is based on the H2X concept which was unveiled at Geneva Motor Show 2019 and according to TATA, the concept car which is shown in Auto Expo 2020, Delhi was 90% close to the actual production car. Like Tata Altroz this model is based on ALFA platform. ALFA means Agile, Light, Flexible, Advanced.
