Maserati MC20: Ferrari got new competitor?

Image
2020 is the historical year which we will remember for many years, and in the same year Maserati decided to step out of the comfort zone and make a 600hp sports car to mark the inception of the new era. Is Maserati MC20 ready for the audacious journey to clash with Italian supercar manufacturers like Ferrari and Lamborghini? Let’s find out. Maserati MC20 launched on 10th September 2020, right in the middle of COVID-19 pandemic. MC is the acronym of Maserati Corse and 20 stands for the year 2020. Lamborghini Unveils a Self-Healing Electric Supercar

Image
The next generation of Lamborghinis could act as their own superpowered batteries and be able to repair themselves. Automobili Lamborghini unveiled its Terzo Millennio (“third millennium”) concept car at the EmTech conference in Cambridge, Mass., on Monday. The car is the product of the first 12 months of a three-year partnership between the automaker and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. True to Lamborghini tradition, the car has a lean, windswept design and the brand’s trademark Y taillights. The windshield seems to extend from the top of the car almost to the driver’s toes, and the body crouches so low it almost looks like an outgrowth of the road. But the most remarkable aspects of the car are invisible—not least because they don’t exist yet. Source: Lamborghini Lamborghini plans to develop supercapacitors that can provide the fast and intense energy needed to power a supercar—and would allow for all-electric models. Th...

70 Years Celebration of FERRARI

Image
Enzo Ferrari- Founder M otor racing was Enzo Ferrari’s passion. Road cars were an annoyance a, distraction. Yet without the latter, Scuderia Ferrari as we know it today wouldn’t exist. Ferrari built road cars to sell to wealthy customers to fund his racing team.       These were people for whom Il Commendatore famously had no time as he felt they were buying the cars for their prestige rather than their performance. The truth is that they were probably buying the cars for both prestige and performance reasons. And that’s certainly the case today, exactly 70 years after the first official Ferrari was built. It’s a landmark that is being marked by an exceptional display of Ferrari road cars that will form the centrepiece of the London Classic Car Show, which takes place from February 23-26 at ExCeL,London. The first Ferrari, the 125 S sports racer, to appear in 1947 is the starting point of Celebration of 70th Anniversary of  Ferrari....
