2020 World car awards are announced. These cars are selected by the jury of 86 international automotive journalists by secret ballot based on the evaluation of each eligible vehicles.

Cars have been elected in the 5 categories namely World Car of the Year, World Urban Car of the Year, World Luxury Car of the Year, World Performance Car of the Year and World Car Design of the Year.

CONCLUSION
Last year Jaguar I-Pace had won the award of the world car. This time Kia beg the award and not only the World car of the year but they also won the award of world urban car of the year.
Surprisingly, Porsche Taycan has won 2 awards in World Luxury Car and World Performance Car categories and World Performance Car Category was dominated by Stuttgart based car manufacturer Porsche as last finalist cars belonged to the same brand. This is the 6th win for the Porsche in the Performance category. It looks like odds were in favour of Porsche.
This beautiful looking Mazda 3 hatchback in sizzling red wins the World Car Design of the year. This category was judged by a design panel comprising seven design experts.

2020 MERCEDES – BENZ GLC COUPE FACELIFT LAUNCH DATE IN INDIA ANNOUNCED

The Mercedes – Benz GLC Coupe is launched on 3rd March in India. GLC is launching exactly one year after its global debut in Geneva Motor Show 2019. The best part is the car will come with the upcoming Bharat VI (BS6) regulations. Probably this is the first GLC coupe will come with the regular version, unlike the last model we got only AMG version. We expect the car to come in GLC 300 and GLC 300d form. Petrol variant of GLC coupe takes 6.3 seconds for 0-100kmph, and diesel variant takes 6.6 seconds for 0-100kmph. This car comes with 5 different driving modes so this car has everything for everyone. First Micro SUV by TATA announced – TATA HBX MICRO SUV

Tata has confirmed that the new tata HBX micro SUV will launch in next fiscal year, launch date will confirm later. This adventurous ready car is based on the H2X concept which was unveiled at Geneva Motor Show 2019 and according to TATA, the concept car which is shown in Auto Expo 2020, Delhi was 90% close to the actual production car. Like Tata Altroz this model is based on ALFA platform. ALFA means Agile, Light, Flexible, Advanced. This car was scheduled to launch in the second half of the year, but unfortunately due COVID-19, launch date is delayed and the exact date is not confirmed by the automaker. Tata Motors confirmed that it will be positioned below the Tata Nexon and will call it as Micro SUV. TATA HBX is expected to be launch only in petrol version.
