MERCEDES A-CLASS SEDAN LAUNCHED IN INDIA AS AMG A-35 4MATIC LIMOUSINE

Mercedes-Benz launched all-new A-class sedan in Auto Expo 2020 in the form of AMG A-35 4MATIC Limousine. The CLA class which Mercedes sells globally, not coming to India and instead of that Mercedes-Benz launched A-class Limousine, is it a good decision by Mercedes-Benz? Let’s find out. German Car-maker decided to introduce the entry-level sedan with sporty AMG engine under his hood. The classic 3 box design gives the new Mercedes sedan a sporty elegance. This car is equipped with AMG specific radiator grille and large air intake demonstrates that AMG DNA lies in A35 4MATIC Limousine with 3-pointed Mercedes logo. We have to admit, from whichever angle you see the car, you will keep admiring this little Limousine. Mercedes-Benz claims, this car completes 0-100kmph in just 4.8sec

INTERIOR

Speaking about the interior of replacement of CLA class, this is the new age Mercedes cabin car. Like 2020 MERCEDES – BENZ GLC COUPE FACELIFT this little Limousine comes with MBUX system too. The dashboard is placed horizontally is of aluminium and carbon fibre finish in circular form with large turbine type air-vents and default digital infotainment screen. The MBUX operating system allows operating either from the steering wheel or through the central console. A35 Limousine comes with the new Super sports mode which gives AMG specific data like g-force readings and tracks telemetry in bar form, with the supersport mode it has AMG performance seats and the brand has tried to give maximum sportiness look to make the rider feels like he is driving a race car. Cool, isn’t it?

wheel is Made of Napa leather with grippy DINAMICA micro-fiber to give perfect grip and sporty steering wheel enlightens the cockpit. AMG centre console in Mercedes comes with several many functions to giving next level experience. There is also ample space for luggage and legroom for rear-seat passengers.  EXTERIOR

In front, the AMG radiator grills (comes with AMG letters) is there with large air dam for air intake and splitter comes with a silver chrome finish to give an attractive look. Speaking of rear aprons, it showcases four vertical fins in the bottom and 2 round chrome exhaust tips with 90mm diameter on the left and right side. In the rear, the A35 features an aircraft wings to give an aerodynamic package to improve the car at high speeds and giving more than greater driving pleasure.  

 Sharply-cut headlamps integrated with Daylight running lamps (DRLs) and nicely shaped bumper completes the front view. In the rear, twin LED lights, boot lit spoiler and aero ducts near the rear bumper gives an amazing look.
AMG A35 features the 18-inch alloy wheels, aero ducks in both sides and design gives muscular characters to the little limousine. Roofline smoothly goes till boot. Long wheelbase available too in the country like China, but in India, it comes with standard 2,729mm wheelbase.  


ENGINE AND DRIVETRAIN

The Mercedes-Benz AMG A35 Limousine comes in 2.0L four-cylinder engine with turbocharging which shoots 306hp and 400nm of torque. To give you sporty driving style this car comes with AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7G Transmission which gives fast gear changes. This car works for both sports as well as comfortable long ride. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system along with dual-clutch transmission helps to achieve the 0-100kmph in just 4.8sec. The A-class sedan is underpinned by new-gen MFA front-wheel-drive platform called MFA-II.
The standard-spec A class which is available globally sells 136hp petrol engine and 116hp diesel engine. Mercedes-Benz is likely to launch in India as A200 and A180 d variants.
Mercedes A Class models are entry-level luxury car segment. Rivals are Audi A3 and BMW 2-series Grand Coupe. Expected price – rs35lacs – rs40lacs. The car will be launched later this year.

2020 MERCEDES – BENZ GLC COUPE FACELIFT LAUNCH DATE IN INDIA ANNOUNCED

The Mercedes – Benz GLC Coupe is launched on 3rd March in India. GLC is launching exactly one year after its global debut in Geneva Motor Show 2019. The best part is the car will come with the upcoming Bharat VI (BS6) regulations. Probably this is the first GLC coupe will come with the regular version, unlike the last model we got only AMG version. We expect the car to come in GLC 300 and GLC 300d form. First Micro SUV by TATA announced – TATA HBX MICRO SUV

Tata has confirmed that the new tata HBX micro SUV will launch in next fiscal year, launch date will confirm later. This adventurous ready car is based on the H2X concept which was unveiled at Geneva Motor Show 2019 and according to TATA, the concept car which is shown in Auto Expo 2020, Delhi was 90% close to the actual production car. Like Tata Altroz this model is based on ALFA platform. ALFA means Agile, Light, Flexible, Advanced. This car was scheduled to launch in the second half of the year, but unfortunately due COVID-19, launch date is delayed and the exact date is not confirmed by the automaker.
